The 808 Media Group team is growing fast, we are currently seeking applications for an in-office/on-set production coordinator role:

​

Job Description:

​

We are seeking a part-time Production Coordinator (sometimes referred to as a Project Coordinator) to work in a fast-paced and supportive environment in our office and on set.

​

Our production coordinators work closely with our producers, clients, and crew to organize, plan, and execute projects from start to finish--From client onboarding, pre-production, production, to post for multiple projects at a time.

​

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Coordinate, schedule, take notes for, and participate in logistical and creative meetings with clients, vendors, and production crew
     

  • Create and distribute Statements of Work for clients, call sheets for crew, and update and work within our project management systems,
     

  • Ability to oversee multiple tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
     

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, e-social skills since working with and emailing clients, vendors, and crew are daily tasks.
     

  • Review raw video footage to find the best “selects” for editing
     

  • Work on set on production days to help support our production team. Tasks could include carrying equipment cases to set, taking food orders, interfacing with our client, and other logistical and general support.

A strong candidate for this role is a good listener, detail oriented, kind, patient, engaging, and excited to learn, grow, and tackle new challenges.

 

A strong candidate for this role has an interest in helping to facilitate/create/optimize systems, an interest in video production, and an interest in playing a part in growing the company.

 

What this person contributes beyond the above listing could vary depending on their interest, skills, and goals.

  • Mac proficient

​

  • Knowledge and comfort utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Drive

Nice to haves:

 

· Experience utilizing Monday.com, Basecamp, or similar project management software

 

· Experience with HubSpot or other CMS’s.

 

· Experience with Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, or other professional editing software
